The Franklin Celebrates Six Years of Craft Cocktails With a Greatest-Hits Tasting Menu

They're bringing back six favorite cocktails from bygone menus.

Revisit some old friends tonight as celebrated cocktail den Franklin Mortgage and Investment Co. turns six years old with a special tasting menu featuring six favorite drinks pulled from old menus. The tasting will be available from the anniversary celebration on Friday, June 19, through the end of the month. (The drinks can also be ordered a la carte.) Here's the full menu:

Demon Tied to a Chair in My Brain
Overproof Jamaican Rum, Maurin Quina, Creole Shrubb, Lemon Juice

Ego Trippin'
Navy Strength Gin, Coconut, Pineapple + Lime Juices, Thai Spiced Bitters

Elephant Flip
Ramazzotti, Overproof Rum, Bourbon, Pomegranate, Aromatic Bitters, Pinch of Salt, Whole Egg, Served With IPA

...With a Baseball Bat
Bourbon Infused with Peanut Butter, Genever, Blackberry, Raspberry, Brown Sugar, Aromatic Bitters

Riddles in the Dark
Rye Whiskey, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, Sweet Vermouth, Amaro Nardini, Cherry, Moroccan Bitters

Lonely Holiday
Islay Scotch, Bittersweet Vermouth, Drambuie, Apple Brandy, Aromatic Bitters

In addition to the special menu, the bar announced via Instagram that the Franklin's original head bartender, Al Sotack, will be back behind the bar for the anniversary celebration on June 19. Sotack left in 2013 for NYC's Death & Co. (whose team consulted on the opening of the Franklin). The Franklin's current head bartender, Sara Justice, introduced seasonal progressive tasting menus after taking over late last year.
