SOUTH STREET — Thai taqueria Tuk Tuk Real will shut its doors on Sunday, June 28, as previously reported, to rebrand as a third location of Circles Thai. As a parting gift, the restaurant will be giving one free taco to anyone who stops by between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on its final night. (A rep also tells us that Tuk Tuk Real gift cards will be honored at Circles South Street once it opens — but not at other Circles locations — in case you were wondering.) [EaterWire]

LISTICLES — Food Network Magazine says that Continental's Szechuan shoestring fries are among the ten best fries in the country. Add them to your list along with these 25 must-try fries we previously rounded up (but please, pace yourself). [EaterWire]

NOLIBS — North Bowl is seeking entrants and their best tater tot creations for its second annual Tot Chef competition, which will take place on Saturday, August 1. For more details on how to throw your hat into the ring, head over to the event's Facebook page. And for a taste of what you're in for, check out our recap of last year's competition. [EaterWire]
