DanDan Upgrades With a Liquor License

Limited BYO will still be allowed at the Sichuan-Taiwanese newcomer.

A little over one month after opening, DanDan has secured the liquor license it promised since opening, meaning a full bar now joins the lineup at the Sichuan-Taiwanese hotspot.

This does, of course, mean the end of BYO as you've known it. From 5 p.m. on, the restaurant will charge a $20 corkage fee for those guests who opt to bring their own wine. Before 5 p.m., you can still bring your own with no corkage. Beer and liquor cannot be brought in at any time.

But the new addition also allows for a new happy hour at DanDan. Beginning this Wednesday, August 19, Foobooz reports that $5 food and beverage deals will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m. every weekday.
