It's a big week for Dizengoff: Bon Appetit named the hummusiya one of 50 nominees for its annual Best New Restaurants list, and perhaps even more importantly, the restaurant announced a limited run of soft-shell crab pitas:
The soft-shells will be up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis on Sunday, August 9, from 2 p.m. until they sell out. $15 gets you a drink and a sandwich, which is described as a fresh pita stuffed with a soft-shell crab schnitzel, pickled red cabbage, amba (mango pickle) tehina, and Israeli salad. If previous one-day-only specials at CookNSolo spots are any indication, you'll want to get there early in anticipation of a quick sell-out.
