The main dining room at Volver reopens for dinner tonight, Wednesday, September 2, following a lengthy summer break. During the downtime, Jose Garces, corporate executive chef Justin Bogle, and chef de cuisine Natalie Maronski led the kitchen in developing all new tasting menus for the fall season. Permit yourself to shed a tear if you must for the KFS and milk and cereal of yore, then brace for savory dippin' dots and rather dramatic use of blood sausage.
The updated bottom line: Options include an eight-course tasting at $95 per person or the full 12-course tasting at $150 per person, exclusive of optional (but highly recommended) pairings by sommelier Gordana Kostovski. Dinner is served Wednesday through Sunday. Here are the full menus:
