SOUTH PHILLY — Starting tomorrow and running through Sunday, Devil's Den is celebrating National Peanut Butter Day with a whole host of peanutty goodness. Naturally, there's a peanut-heavy menu in place with dishes both sweet and savory. On draft they'll have literally all of the peanut butter beers out there: Terrapin Liquid Bliss, Round Guys Pachyderm, DuClaw's Sweet Baby Jesus and For Pete's Sake, Evil Genius' Purple Monkey Dishwasher, and Fruli Strawberry (for a PB&J black and tan).
SOUTH STREET — From now until January 29th Jet Wine Bar, Rex 1516, and Cafe Ynez are celebrating Guest Appreciation Week. Visit all three restaurants and get a card stamped and you'll be eligible enter a raffle to win a gift certificate to all three. Meanwhile, each restaurant is offering a promotion to celebrate their regulars. At Jet, they've put together a menu of seven snacks, each paired with an appropriate beverage, some named after regular guests. Rex 1516 is working with two of their regulars—DJ Jim Redz and Jackson Duncan—to create special Citywide burgers, available this week and next. Cafe Ynez is offering two $5 plates and half-priced carafes of mixers.
SOUTH KENSINGTON — New Liberty Distillery is offering a special cocktail flight modeled after Center City District's Restaurant Week. This weekend and next, as part of their VIP distillery tours ($20), distillery guests can upgrade their tour (which already includes tastes of their whiskies, bourbons, and ryes) for an additional $10 to taste three mini cocktails: an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert.
