A month ago, two weeks went by without a review from Inquirer critic Craig LaBan. His reason? “Been working on a *big* project”, he said in response to a curious reader on Twitter. Today, the said project was released to all newspaper subscribers and is available for online purchase to non-subscribers.
It’s called Craig LaBan’s Ultimate Dining, a 52-page, print-only guide detailing the critic’s top picks from Philly’s BYOB and Chinatown scene, the best classics, and more importantly, an all-new top 25 list.
But the even bigger news here is that LaBan also updated his elusive collection of four-bell restaurants, too. New to the list:
- Laurel
- Vernick Food + Drink
- Fork
- Vedge
