Gilmore Girls fans now have another reason to celebrate. Not only is the show resurfacing on Netflix as a four-episode series, but the online streaming service is also sponsoring the one-day transformation of close to 200 coffee shops around the country — at least one in each state — into the iconic Luke's Diner.
What does that mean exactly? Well, starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow, October 5, each Philly Hubbub Coffee location, plus the one in Radnor (PA addresses here), will dress their baristas and staff members in "Luke's Diner essentials", like branded hats and aprons. The first 250 people in the door will get a free 12oz cup of coffee, all thanks to some genius marketing by the Netflix team.
Here are the Philly-area locations participating:
- Hubbub Coffee - 1717 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19103
- Hubbub Coffee - 3736 Spruce St., Philadelphia, PA 19104
- Hubbub Coffee - 232 N. Radnor Chester Rd. Radnor, PA 19087
