Schmidt’s Commons, formerly known as Piazza at Schmidt’s, has a new fast-casual on its roster. Token, a Korean-American restaurant specializing in Korean bowls, dumplings, wings, coffee, ice cream, baked goods, and beer, is now open at 1050 North Hancock Street, according to a report by Philly.com.
The main here is build-your-own “grab + go” Korean bowls featuring beef, chicken, spicy chicken bulgogi or tofu over your choice of noodles, rice, or salad. Other options include meat-stuffed bao buns, mandoo (Korean dumplings), plus two types of kimchi—cucumber and cabbage.
Token opens at 8 a.m. daily, so come in the morning for coffee and espresso drinks and freshly baked goods. Need to stock up for an afternoon game? Order a bunch of Korean fried chicken wings, and grab a six-pack to-go.
Hours go till 10 p.m. on weekdays, 11 p.m. on weekends, and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
