About a week and a half ago, Andy Tessier took to Facebook to let his friends and family know about his departure from Coeur's kitchen.
And today, Coeur co-owner Leigh Maida announced chef Justin Bennett's arrival to the Montrealer-bistro in Bella Vista. The restaurant group is consolidating one chef to three locations: Bennett, already the executive chef at both Local 44 and Clarkville, will be handed the reign's to Coeur's kitchen. Tagging along, a slew of Frenchy, new menu items like leek-buttered escargot, Raclette fondue, and a cheeky Boeuf Bourguignon. Look below for the updated menu.
Pro-tip: Coeur's smart (and affordable!) wine list might easily be one of the restaurant's main attractions, and happy hour there (Monday-Friday, 5-7 p.m.) means $4 select wine and beers — an absolute steal for the product they carry. Go on a Sunday, and sparkling bottles are half price.
