Honeygrow, the Philly-born fast-casual stir-fry, salad, and smoothie chain that could, is expanding again, this time to Temple University's Morgan Hall at the corner of Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
Opening on Temple's campus will be somewhat of a return home for founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg, who wrote a chunk of Honeygrow's business plan as a student at Temple University. The new location, slotted for a fall 2016 opening, will be one of nine stores Honeygrow plans to sprout by the end of the calendar year, including locations in Newark, Delaware and the all new King of Prussia Town Center.
Additionally, sometime this spring, loaded with a $25 million new investment from Miller Investment Management, the company will relocate its Center City headquarters to a renovated warehouse in Fishtown, complete with offices and a commissary kitchen.
Stay tuned for updates.
