Yesterday, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek partnered up with Favor, a new delivery app that just launched in Philadelphia. It's the app-baby of Caviar and Postmates, a $5 flat delivery fee with restaurant partnerships (Caviar) or whatever else you want, be it a new toothbrush from Walgreens or the phone you drunkenly left at a bar (Postmates).
Celek's first stop was Geno's Steaks in South Philly, where he ordered 40 steaks (whiz, no onions) for co-working office space Industrious. Afterwards, he walked along Broad Street, giving away sandwiches to anybody interested in indulging — three ladies on their way to Honeygrow for lunch opted for a Geno's steak instead.
