MIDTOWN VILLAGE — Opa's backyard Drury Beer Garden is hosting a Spring Kickoff Party this Saturday, April 30, from 1-4 p.m. New this season:
- Feast options - choose between a mussels feast ($25 a head) or a pig roast ($35 a head), slow roasted for four hours
- Retro Game Night - Every Monday at 5 p.m., the Garden will have Nintendo 64 and NES available for up to four players at a time to play on their large flatscreen televisions. Free.
- BBQ - Every Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., chef Bobby Saritsoglou will offer a rotating and seasonal selection of backyard and street food items, all for, at most, $5.
HEADHOUSE SQUARE — This Sunday, May 1, is Headhouse Farmers' Market's 10th birthday, and they're celebrating opening day (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) with Shellbark Hollow Farm baby goats, photo booth ops, live music, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Thereafter, the farmers' market will host a slew of events through December, starting with a chef tour and brunch by Ela's Jason Cichonski.
