Rittenhouse's Mac and Cheese Restaurant Opens Today

Mac Mart has arrived

Today is the day: Mac Mart is finally open. The new mac-and-cheese fast casual restaurant sits just north of Rittenhouse Square at 104 S. 18th Street, once Liberty Shoe Service. Owner Marti Lieberman grew her concept out of a food truck, the Mac Mart Cart, but an actual storefront was always part of its natural progression. The fast casual model comes two ways: signature bowls (already tried-and-true), or if you'd rather, build-your-own: start with a mac and cheese base, then a protein, and top it off with a "crunch".

Hours go from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday - Friday, till 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and till 7 p.m. on Sundays. Once the dust settles, look for Mac Mart to provide some late-night eats for Rittenhouse's bar crowd.
