The Dutch, Joncarl Lachman and Lee Styer's Pennsport bruncherie, has been up and running for a little over two months now, and so far, it's been very well received by critics and neighbors, alike. And every so often, the two chefs like to hold events in their joint-kitchen, after-hours, namely the Nacht Kucke — Pennsylvania Dutch for "night kitchen". Sometimes, they'll cook themselves, or in this case, they'll pick teams and compete for bragging rights (and a free meal at the loser's restaurant).

On Monday, June 27, the two chefs will bring in their respective kitchen staff from Noord and Fond, and go course for course (four from each team, eight total) with complimentary wine pairings. Cast your vote at the end. It's $145 per person including tax and gratuity, and it sells out quickly, so call the restaurant at 215-755-5600 to reserve your spot.
