As you've been made aware, The Franklin's Di Bruno Bros. recently launched the company's first-ever bottle shop, and according to a store rep, wine is on the way.
In keeping with the company's dedication to providing the ultimate cheese-pairing experience, Di Bruno Bros. will stock a six-bottle line-up of wines served by-the-glass, which, when coupled with the store's 4-7 p.m. $2-off cheese plate (and beer) happy hour, could make The Franklin location a wonderful after-work hang. "The wine bottles are scheduled to arrive by Friday", said the rep.
The addition of wine to the Di Bruno Bros. roster has nothing to do with the recently passed bill permitting grocery stores to sell wine. Basically, the bottle shop is operating as a bar. But don't ignore the implications, "maybe in a few months" things will change.
