Philly's favorite Thai chef Alex Boonphaya has had a number of successes in the Philly area, but his South Street location, which originally opened as a Thai/Mexican hybrid restaurant (only to turn into another rendition of Circles Thai), hasn't quite found the same success as its sister locations around the city.
According to Circles Headhouse's Facebook page, the restaurant is temporarily closed, but due to reopen in the future:
Meanwhile, Boonphaya's seven-month-old Collingswood location is doing well for itself winning over Courier-Post critic Danya Henninger.
