Tonight, January 22, and every Friday from now until Labor Day weekend, is "Flight Night" at the South Street BBQ icon, featuring a flight of whiskey (three, 1 oz. pours from their 40-bottle heavy whiskey list) for $15. Tonight will be single barrel-only, but look out for Bulliet, rye, and Maker's flights in the subsequent weeks.

Saturday lunch: Brigantessa

Wood-fire pizzas and paninis start at noon on weekends at South Philly's favorite neapolitan pizzeria, and if Joe Cicala's cooking is any indication of authenticity (which it always is), then know this: Italians seriously know how to lunch.

Saturday night dinner: Boba & Co.

South Philly's new Cambodian street food truck stays open till 9 p.m. on weekends, with a quaint little patio for meat-stick-munching and bubble tea sippin' in Lower Moyemensing's great outdoors.
