ITV, Top Chef Winner Nick Elmi's New Bar, is Open on East Passyunk Avenue

The Lenape word "Passyunk" means "in the valley"

Top Chef star Nicholas Elmi opened his new wine bar ITV this past weekend, taking advantage of Philadelphia's annual Fourth of July exodus to allow his staff to find their bearings in the new space. Now, the bar is open daily, from 5 p.m. - 2 a.m., its full food menu available until 11 p.m.

Eimer Design built out a sleek and sexy space (pictured above) for Elmi and his crew. The long bar seats 12 with five chairs up by the front window for prime Passyunk people-watching. In the back, a banquette seats an additional eight, with a lone two-top for a more intimate ITV experience.

ITV/Laurel's wine-pro Heather Sharp compiled an impressive list of French/Austrian wines ranging from $11-$19 by the glass, $50-$250 by the bottle, plus craft beers, sake, and cocktails managed by Jordan Stalsworth. The food menu's got a similar vibe to Laurel's: small plates, French-New American, but instead Laurel's tasting-menu-only approach, ITV's options range from $6-$23.

Remember, the bar doesn't take reservations, so plan accordingly.
