Wayne, PA will welcome a new contemporary American BYOB called At The Table by restaurant couple Tara Buzan and Alex Hardy, both chefs ready to make their own mark on the Main Line dining scene.

Buzan, who's been running her own catering outfit To The Table Catering after closing her popular cafe and lunch spot A Taste of Britain, is joining forces with her boyfriend Alex Hardy, who's, right now, running the show at the popular Fairmount pub Rembrandt's. Hardy, a Johnson & Wales grad, worked in some of the region's finest kitchens, Marigold Kitchen, Phoenixville's three-bell Majolica, and Pumpkin among them.

As good as Rembrandt's pub food is, Hardy wanted something a bit more out of his career, "I just didn't want to cook burgers anymore." From the looks of At The Table's Instagram, what Hardy likes to cook is something far from burgers.

So the couple scooped up the old Crêperie Béchamel space at 11 Louella Court (just down the way from Wayne's White Dog Cafe), and already began renovations in the 26-30 seat dining room. Hardy says they're aiming for a Blackfish-type BYOB atmosphere with modern plating techniques inspired by Philly hotspots Will BYOB and Pumpkin.

At The Table's seasonally focused menu will be à la carte with an added prixe fixe tasting option. The tasting menu will allow guests to choose between five and eight courses, and then circle their picks of the night, course by course.

Hardy and Buzan are shooting for an late-October, early-November opening. Stay tuned.
