In terms of food delivery services in Philly, Caviar, GrubHub, and Post Mates has it pretty much covered. Back in the spring, the city even had a newcomer, Favor, before it vanished in June (a company rep explained that it shut down five of its newer markets to focus on its well-established ones). But as of 7 a.m. today, UberEATS made its Philly debut, partnering with over 100 restaurants near and dear to Philly's hearts, with these restaurants among them:
- El Vez
- Pod
- Buddakan
- Jones
- DanDan
- Paesano's
- Hawthornes Cafe
- Zavino
- Stargazy
- Matt & Marie's
- Deke's Barbecue
- Vincenzo's Deli
- Poke Bowl
- Chestnut Street Philly Bagel
- Matt & Marie's
- Wishbone
- Tiffin
- Essen Bakery
- Bubblefish
- Tio Flores
Even better, they're offering free delivery for a limited time (there's no specific time frame). After that, it'll be a flat-rate, $4.99 delivery fee, with no other hidden service fees. And since there's already an established courier service in place (regular ol' Uber), drivers will deliver seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
