According to a report by Philly.com, 33-year-old Andrew Hazleton, a Blackwood, N.J. resident, was spending his Saturday evening with five women at Old City's Bleu Martini before an argument broke out between his table and another one nearby. The altercation resulted in Hazleton stabbed in his neck with an "unknown object". At 1:01 p.m. the next day (August 21), Hazleton was pronounced dead at Jefferson University Hospital.
The assailant stayed on the scene and was taken into custody. His name, and the charges against him, have not been released by the police.
Just last weekend, a 41-year-old man was found stabbed in his shoulder-chest area outside of Pat's Steaks in South Philly. After a fight broke out with an unidentified assailant a few blocks away, the victim rode his bike to Pat's where he was then taken to Jefferson Hospital for treatment. According to Fox 29, he was listed in stable condition.
