Mica is Back in Action Under New Ownership

The Chestnut Hill restaurant reopens tonight after a two-month hiatus

Mica/Facebook

Back in August, Chip Roman sold his Chestnut Hill New American restaurant Mica to his at-the-time Blackfish chef de cuisine Yianni Arhontoulis. The young chef was set to turn it into a BYOB (Roman held onto the liquor license) by September 6, and the menu would be completely his own. September 6 has come and passed, but the projected date wasn’t far off. Mica the BYOB opens tonight, September 13 at 5 p.m

Not much has changed to the physical space either, besides a fresh coat of “#peacockblue” paint in the dining room. And over the past week, Arhontoulis has been teasing out the new menu via Instagram, so look below for the entire compilation. Instead of the previous 1st, 2nd, 3rd Course format, he’s opted for Snacks, Appetizers and Entrées. There’s also a $69 prix fixe tasting option if you’d rather the kitchen steer your evening.

Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
