In Philly 2016, drinking high in the air is all the rage. It's a race to the top, first to the moon, what with rooftop scenesters Assembly and Bok Bar providing gorgeous city vistas, plus SkyGarten planting its flag as the "world's highest beer garden." Our drinking culture is growing in one direction: up.

One Liberty Place, one of Philly's most iconic skyscrapers, joins the rising movement with Bar 57, named after — you guessed it — the floor from which it operates. Every Thursday from September 29 to October 27 hit up the observation deck from 5 - 8 p.m. for drinks and snacks with a view, courtesy of Di Bruno Bros. Catering and Events. The observation deck is usually a $19 commitment, but during Bar 57 hours, you can knock $5 off at the door, and $7 off if you buy tickets in advance. Happy hour will go from 5-7 p.m. with $5 beer and $7 wine.
