The new BYOB at 20th and Federal Streets, On Point Bistro, is right about ready to open its doors to the Point Breeze neighborhood, and it'll do so this upcoming Tuesday, September 15. The neighborhood eatery by Garces-alum Juan Lopez and his wife Mallory Fix Lopez (plus Mallory's sister and brother-in-law Megan and Rahul Ashe) will launch service with daytime brunch only from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the first week, then dinner service begins the following week (September 20).
The brunch menu (below) hits all the classics — your steak and eggs, pancakes, farm-fresh omelets, breakfast burgers, etc. — but also dives deeper into fancy french toasts made with Essen Bakery's challah, expertly stacked breakfast nachos, and a fried chicken and waffle dish drizzled with honey-mustard hollandaise. Read through, make your picks, and go in person this Tuesday.
