Yards Brewing Co. just moved into its new digs on Spring Garden (doors open Thursday), leaving behind its 901 N. Delaware Avenue location. Taking over the space is bakery, brew house, and barbecue kitchen Craft Hall from FCM Hospitality, known for Morgan’s Pier, Dolphin Tavern, William Street Common, and Parks on Tap. Ahead of its fall 2018 opening, Craft Hall is giving Philly a peek at what to expect with a pop-up restaurant right next to the city’s holiday tree at City Hall.
The Craft Hall pop-up will be in a heated tent decorated for the season with seats for 100. Chef Adam Lazarick put together a menu of barbecue — smoked onsite — and sides. To drink: wine and bubbly Barefoot Wines, beer from Victory, Slyfox, and other local breweries, and hot cocktails.
Outside the tent there will be an outpost of baker Alex Bois’ Lost Bread Co. with breads and baked goods (Bois is part of the Craft Hall team). The pop-up starts November 24 and runs through December 23, open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
