Chef Marc Vetri is very prolific on Instagram, posting behind-the-scenes photos from the kitchen of Vetri Cucina and sneak peeks of his upcoming Las Vegas location of Vetri in the Palms (maybe he has more time on his hands now that he’s no longer involved with Urban Outfitters). And now he’s given followers a behind-the-scenes look at Cynergy Hair Studio, where he went to have his beard dyed Eagles green.
Vetri first sported a greenish beard at the Linc on Sunday when the Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings, posting a photo with the caption “Gotta represent!!! #birds #bleedgreen #beardgreen.” But it looks like that wasn’t quite green enough, because he next went to Cynergy, at 15th and South streets, where stylist Angela Spano got to work. The professional dye job made all the difference, and the results are definitely Eagles-worthy.
Salon owner Cynthia Peditto says Vetri was the first customer requesting green, but she hopes it catches on. So, Eagles fans, if you don’t want to don an underdog mask, coloring your hair green might be the way to go.
