Green is the theme in Philly right now, with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and bakeries coming up with their most creative Philadelphia Eagles-themed concoctions ahead of Super Bowl 52.
We’ve already seen one of the city’s star chefs dye his beard Eagles green. Dottie’s Donuts swapped out its Boston cream for a creamed Boston and whipped up an Eagles Fan on a Greased Pole in homage to fans attempting to shimmy up the Crisco-covered poles on Broad Street after the NFC Championship win. The vegan sweet shop also has a bet going with Boston’s Kane’s Donuts, and Yards Brewing Co. made a wager with Boston-based Harpoon.
Now, Federal Donuts is getting into the action with a very green Iggle doughnut. British pie shop Stargazy is putting together a game day package with Sausage Foles and cheesesteak pies. Over at Sweet Box, cupcakes are getting an unusual decoration: underdogs. Check out these dishes and drinks showing their Eagles pride:
Cupcakes from Northeast Philly’s Haegele’s Bakery (4164 Barnett St.) come complete with frosting eagles.
E-A-G-L-E-S! Getting ready for game day... just a week away. It's great to be a part of a city so filled with spirit for...

ReAnimator Coffee knows the best part of waking up is quarterback-themed coffee. Get it at one of ReAnimator’s coffee shops or at Res Ipsa (2218 Walnut Street).
The mint chocolate ice cream sandwiches from Zsa’s are adorned with victory wings for good luck. Order online.
Waffatopia (1050 Colwell Lane, Conshohocken) is going Eagles green with a mint chocolate chip waffle.
Philadelphia’s oldest bar breaks out the green beer in honor of the Eagles. McGillin’s (1310 Drury Street) will also be pouring Iggletinis with vanilla vodka and creme de menthe.
At Stargazy (1838 E. Passyunk Avenue), Sam Jacobson is prepping “Sausage Foles” and “Philadelphia-style steak and cheese pies” ahead of the Super Bowl.
Philly Pretzel Factory (multiple locations) has an underdog’s favorite snack at the ready.
Yards Brewing Co. (500 Spring Garden Street) is frying up green-tinged wings — the sauce uses long hots for a pop of Eagles green.
