Before the Super Bowl, Kensington-based ReAnimator Coffee joined the local bars, restaurants, and shops showing their Philadelphia Eagles pride with Foles-gers, a limited-release blend. The coffee was supposed to be available through game day, February 4. But now that the Eagles are Super Bowl champs, ReAnimator is ready with the Foles-gers Champion Edition in honor of quarterback Nick Foles, the Super Bowl MVP.
The whole-bean coffee comes in 10-ounce bags and is going for $19. But get this: As with the first batch of Foles-gers, all proceeds from sales of the champion blend go to support Philly schools through the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia. (Federal Donuts also raised money for the fund through sales of green Iggle doughnuts. The Eagles’ Lane Johnson did the same with his underdog T-shirts.)
The Foles-gers beans are 60 percent Guatemalan, 25 percent Peruvian, and 15 percent Ethiopian and the coffee tastes of brown sugar and almond. According to a tweet from ReAnimator, it’s “very balanced, sugary, and tastes like victory.”
60% Guatemala, 25% Peru, 15% Ethiopia! Very balanced, sugary, and tastes like victory.

Fans can order the “coffee of champions” through the roastery’s website now. The bags won’t ship until Thursday — but Philly will definitely still be celebrating then.
Foles-gers Champion Edition is not yet available at ReAnimator’s cafes in Kensington and Fishtown or at Res Ipsa (the all-day cafe from ReAnimator and Stock), but it should be soon.
