Valentine’s Day is Friday, so if you haven’t made a reservation yet and someone in your life is expecting dinner out on the town, you’d better get on it.
Eater is all for staying in on Valentine’s Day, what with the expensive prix fixe menus, over-worked kitchen staff and servers, and sad single red roses. But for those whose hearts are set on a meal out, there are still a few reservations to be had at recommendable restaurants on February 14, including some tried-and-true Philly favorites and a few notable newcomers.
Here’s a selection of Eater picks with tables for two between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. available on OpenTable, Resy, or Tock. Some of the restaurants may be doing special Valentine’s Day menus, so make sure to check. And note that some are BYOB (bring your own bottle).
Since the holiday is on a Friday this year it’s slim pickings and what’s left will probably go fast.
