It may be unseasonably chilly in Philly today, but a marker of the year’s warm weather is throwing open its doors today: Morgan’s Pier is opening for the 2018 season. The yearly celebration of al fresco drinking and dining on the Delaware River Waterfront has a new chef-in-residence, too — Adam Lazarick.
Lazarick’s 2018 menu is focused on American classics with a bit of a twist. Think: hot wings, shrimp cocktail, fried cheese curds. “Fatbread” pizzas — in collaboration with Alex Bois of Lost Bread Co. — are back; the menu’s rounded out with sandwiches (including burgers and fried fish) and seafood selections. As for the drink menu, there are plenty of cocktails on draft — including a rum punch and margarita — along with lots of draft beers and mid-priced cans. Peep the entire food and drink menus below:
Lazarick has logged time at Lacroix Restaurant at The Rittenhouse, Stateside and Ela, and has recently shifted to working with FCM Hospitality (who runs Morgan’s.) Previous Morgan’s Pier chefs-in-residence have included Jim Burke of JAMES, George Sabatino of Stateside along with a handful of others.
Morgan’s Pier is open until 2 a.m. daily.
