Shake Shack Rolls Out a Food Truck in Philly

The food truck is available for private events in a handful of cities, starting this week

Shake Shack’s burgers, crinkle-cut fries, and custard shakes are now available on the road. The company just added two food trucks to its offerings — but they’re only available for events, so don’t look for them parked in Center City serving the lunch crowds. One truck is for New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania and the other is setting up in Atlanta.

The food truck menu is customizable, but if you’re booking a Shake Shack truck you’re probably interested in burgers (there’s also has a portobello mushroom burger with muenster and cheddar cheese).

As for how much it costs, all Shake Shack will say is it’s based on the duration of the event and the number of people.

Along with the truck, a very big Shake Shack is opening at Citizens Bank Park — it’s the first sit-down, restaurant-style Shake Shack in a sports stadium. Philly also has Shake Shacks at 20th and Sansom, 32nd and Chestnut, 12th and Chestnut, the King of Prussia mall, and the Wells Fargo Center.
