Round One, a chain of entertainment venues with games and food, is signed on for the upcoming Fashion District Philadelphia, the new mall taking the place of the Gallery in Center City. This will be the third Round One in Pennsylvania, joining locations in the Exton Square Mall and across the state in Erie. Fashion District is slated to open in September.
Set on the third floor of the mall in what’s being called the entertainment zone, Round One will offer bowling, pool tables, ping pong tables, arcade games, and karaoke, along with food and drink. Going off the other locations, it’s safe to expect bar fare like pizza, burgers, and wings. To drink: beer, wine, and soju- and sake-mixed drinks, which makes more sense once you know Round One’s parent company is based in Japan.
Round One will share the third floor with an AMC movie theater — not only will it fill the movie theater void in Center City, it will up the ante with in-theater dining, reclining seats, and a bar.

Fashion District — spanning 800,000 square feet from 8th to 11th streets and Market to Filbert — will also include the first Philly location of City Winery, a restaurant, winery, and concert venue rolled into one. Dallas BBQ and a food court are planned as well.
If you can’t wait until next fall for Ms. Pac-Man and table games, The Post just opened in University City.
