Parkway Central Library, the flagship location of the The Free Library of Philadelphia, is playing host to a spring beer garden series this May.

The series, Brews & Views, is a collaboration between the library and Brûlée Catering, who will serve local craft beer, wine, cocktails, and made-to-order seasonal snacks. Kicking off its third season next Tuesday, May 21, the beer garden will be completely free to enter.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Free Library of Philadelphia for the third year in a row,” Kelley Maddox, Brûlée Catering’s Director of Business Development and Sales said in a recent press release. “The unique setting of the Skyline Room and rooftop allows Philadelphians and visitors to experience one of the city’s landmark locations.”

Beer garden attendees are also invited to peruse several of the library’s rare book exhibits while drinking. Those who are more inclined toward the outdoors will, of course, enjoy the view of the Philly skyline from the roof.

STATUS: Brew & Views will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 21-23, and from May 28-30 at the Parkway Central Library (1901 Vine Street).
