With a Super Bowl win under their belts and big dreams of another one, there’s more reason than ever to see the Philadelphia Eagles play at Lincoln Financial Field — not to mention the dozens of concerts and other sporting events that take place at the South Philly stadium regularly. The Linc has good food, but where to go before and after? Luckily, the area near the stadium has plenty of classic Philly options. Within a mile, find sports bars, cheesesteak shops, red sauce Italian joints, plenty of hoagies, pizza, and even water ice.

Where to Eat Near Lincoln Financial Field, Home of the Philadelphia Eagles
Cheesesteaks, pizza, water ice, and more options near the stadium

Bar Amis
Head to the nearby Navy Yard for the chicest place in the area to eat pre-game. Bar Amis’s big menu includes seasonal salads, fancy snacks like grilled avocado with everything spice, sandwiches, pasta, and steak. On a sunny day, snag an outdoor table.
Xfinity Live! Philadelphia
For those who want to party before, during, and after games, Xfinity Live within the stadium complex is the spot. The half-dozen themed bars inside this massive venue — everything from a country joint with a mechanical bull to a traditional sports bar — cater to most tastes. After a big win, it gets wild, so it may be safer to go early if you’re seeking a meal.

Celebre's Pizzeria
A “pizzazz” is the order at this casual pizzeria that’s a quick walk from the stadium complex. It’s like a pizza, but with layers of American cheese, sliced tomatoes, and banana peppers. If that sounds weird, Celebre’s also has regular pizza, fried snacks, and sandwiches.
Pastificio Deli
The fresh pasta shop that’s also known for its house-made mozzarella molded into shapes like the Eagles logo and turkeys for Thanksgiving sells a nice selection of Italian hoagies and hot sandwiches too.
Popi's Italian Restaurant
Popi’s is a favorite among the South Philly set for its old school Italian pastas, veal dishes, and seafood. No need to BYO here: The spacious restaurant has a full bar and wine list. Keep an eye out for nights when there’s live entertainment.
Chickie's & Pete's
The famous seasoned fries with white cheese sauce at Chickie’s & Pete’s are available inside all three Philadelphia stadiums — Lincoln Financial Field, the Wells Fargo Center, and Citizens Bank Park — but on game day it’s worth checking out the large standalone Chickie’s & Pete’s nearby where it’s always a party with beers flowing and crab fries galore.
Philadium Tavern
Thanks to its location near the stadium, Philadium regularly makes the list of top sports bars. Expect fried food, hoagies, and pizza (including a few vegan pies).

Oregon Diner
Philly is a town known for its diners and the closest one to the Linc is Oregon Diner. It’s open 24 hours on weekends and serves breakfast all day. For the uninitiated, try the 2+2+2+2 to get two eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, and two hot cakes or slices of french toast for $8.25.

Tony Luke's
After a game, a Tony Luke’s visit is a tradition for many fans still clad in their team jerseys and hats. One of Philly’s top cheesesteak places, this spot is equally loved for its roast pork sandwiches with broccoli rabe.

Pop's Homemade Italian Ice
Pop’s has been serving fruit-based water ice for nine decades, and it’s still one of Philly’s best spots for the sweet stuff. Add in a soft pretzel for dipping — while it’s not exactly a balanced meal, Philadelphian sports fans have been known to do stranger things than eat dessert for dinner.
SouthHouse
Open for brunch before the game or dinner after, SouthHouse is a good spot for a bite and a beer. The bar offers a dozen drafts and more than 70 beers and ciders in bottles and cans. Along with a popular burger list (on grilled Challah or gluten-free buns) and loaded tater tots, a number of lighter, plant-based options are also available.

Scannicchio's
Has a restaurant’s name ever sounded more Italian than Scannicchio’s? It’s probably easy to guess from the name that this corner BYOB (i.e., alcohol isn’t on the menu but you can bring it) specializes in pasta with red sauce, chicken parm, and cannoli. After a long game, a hearty meal is often just the ticket.
